Partnership

Everything we do at Wit is inspired by our goal of making the world a better place for kids. We know that good design matters, and its beauty and function can bring about a sense of well-being and positively impact and enhance kids’ lives.

Our passion for improving the lives of kids is a perfect match for our partnership with Read to Grow, a non-profit organization that supports literacy for children. In recognition of this partnership, we are donating a percentage of our sales to this incredibly worthy cause and organization.

Did you know that the number of books in a home is a better predictor of a child’s future educational achievement and success in life than are their parents’ income and education?

And did you know that babies begin learning the moment they are born and that sharing books with children beginning at birth builds a foundation for the infant’s language skills and is the single most important activity to prevent low literacy?

Read to Grow’s Mission is to promote language skills and literacy for children, beginning at birth, and to support parents as their babies’ first teachers. Their Books for Babies program delivers Literacy Packets to newborn parents through hospitals. And their Book for Kids program distributes new and gently used books to local communities, many of them underprivileged, through Book Places and other Partnerships.
